Futures trading for U.S. stock index rose

Futures traded U.S. stocks rose, to indicate that the S & P 500 bottomed out after last week's decline, as investors awaited monetary policy meeting this week, the Federal Reserve.
 
Netflix Inc. rose 4.7 percent after it agreed to a deal for several years with DreamWorks Animation for original programming.
 
Advanced futures contracts on the S & P 500, which expires in September rose 0.8 percent to 1,630.60 at 8:43 am in New York. Massed contracts on the Dow Jones industrial average fell 106 points, or 0.7 percent, to 15.094 today.
